No parade, but Santa still coming to Oakville on Nov. 21

Despite attempts to make it happen, the Santa Claus Parade won’t be happening in Oakville this year.
Instead, Santa will make his presence felt by taking part in a fireside chat with Mayor Rob Burton. And, St. Nick will take the opportunity to answer some questions from his many fans and welcome a few gift requests that he hopes to deliver on.
The chat will take place next Saturday, Nov. 21 at 9 a.m.
The move away from the parade this year was made due to social gathering restrictions because of the coronavirus.

On the big day, viewers can tune in at oakvillesantaclausparade.ca to watch the merriment and kick-off the festive season.
