New transit schedule will change the way some Oakville students get to school

Oakville Transit is making several changes to bus routes and timetables that affect students.
Several of the changes are being made due to lack of demand on some routes which will allow the redeployment of buses to other areas.
All moves are effective November 29.
13 Westoak Trails
Route 13 will depart the Bronte GO station two minutes later on all trips to improve connections with incoming GO trains.

71 White Oaks Secondary School special
Due to lack of demand, Route 71 after school service will be cancelled. Students can use Route 19 from the north side of McCraney Street at 11:18 a.m. to travel to River Oaks after school.
80 Holy Trinity school special
Due to lack of demand, Route 80 morning service will be cancelled. The after school service will depart the school five minutes later at 11:55 a.m.
In the morning, students can take Route 20 leaving the Oakville GO station at 7:10 or 7:40 a.m. Stay on the bus and it will change to Route 19 at the Uptown Core. Get off the bus at River Glen Blvd. and Sixth Line at 7:42 or 8:12 a.m. and walk to school.

81 and 82 Abbey Park/Loyola (North) school specials
Route 81A and 81B in the morning will be combined into Route 81N.
Route 81N Abbey Park North after school service will leave the school earlier at 11:25 a.m. Route 82 Loyola North after school service will remain the same.

83 T. A. Blakelock school special
Due to lack of demand, Route 83 East and Route 83 West after school service will be cancelled. Students can use Route 14 on Rebecca Street.
84 Oakville Trafalgar High School special
Route 84 morning service will remain the same, however, the after school service will leave earlier at 11:25 a.m.

Route 86 morning service and Route 86A and 86B after school service will be combined into one route.
