New COVID-19 cases in Burlington and Oakville schools

COVID-19 continues to grow in the Halton school systems.

Two new cases in the public school system have been reported today.

Two new cases in the public school system have been reported today.

Mohawk Gardens Public School at 5280 Spruce Ave. in Burlington has a reported case which has resulted in the closure of one classroom.

As well, White Oaks Secondary School at 1330 Montclair Dr. in Oakville has a new recoded case.

Meanwhile, in the separate school system, St. Patrick Catholic Elementary School, which previously had reported cases, now has a third resulting in three classrooms being closed. This school is located at 200 Kenwood Ave. in Burlington.

In all cases it has not been revealed if it is a student or staff member that has COVID.

All schools in both systems remain open.
