New COVID-19 case reported at grocery store in Georgetown

A new case of COVID-19 was recently reported at a Georgetown grocery store.

On December 24, 2020, Loblaw reported that an employee tested positive at the Real Canadian Superstore located at 171 Guelph Street.

The employee last worked on December 15.

“Given the important role we play in our communities, we are prepared for all possible situations, including a positive test for COVID-19 in our stores,” the company says.

“In these cases, we work closely with public health and follow their guidance to ensure proper notification of close contacts and required cleaning and sanitization in our stores.”
