Multiple outages and traffic hazards being reported in Halton

Multiple outages and traffic hazards are being reported due to the wind storm that hit the region this afternoon.
Police say their Communications Bureau has received reports of trees down across roadways at over 30 locations across Halton.
As a result, dozens of road closures in effect.
“If there isn’t a compelling reason to be driving right now, please don’t,” said police.
Additionally, various power outages are in effect. There is no estimated time for when power will return.
