Moorelands Park, located at 504 Laurier Ave. in Milton, is currently undergoing redevelopment.

The purpose of the redevelopment is to enhance the park’s amenities while also enhancing the experience for residents in the neighbourhood.

As a result, the Town of Milton is seeking community feedback on the proposed park concept including elements of the design as well as proposed changes from now until June 15.

Proposed enhancements include pathway lights, site furniture, plant bed and naturalized planting, trees, widened asphalt pathway and signage.

“We know Moorelands Park is an important part of your neighbourhood and we’re excited to make enhancements with you and your family in mind,” reads the town’s website.

“Local parks are shared spaces for the community to get active, recreate, socialize and connect with nature. They are places built for the community, with the community in mind.”

Subject to Council’s approval, construction is forecasted to begin in spring 2022 and be completed in winter 2022.
