Milton Man Accused of Sex Crimes

A Milton man is facing charges in connection with a sex assault case.

The suspect was arrested on Aug. 15.

The suspect was arrested on Aug. 15.

Investigators from the Halton police child abuse and sexual assault unit say the man worked as a martial arts instructor at Black Belt World in Milton.

The female victim was a member of the Taekwondo club, say police.

Patrick Leany, 38, is charged with luring, invitation to sexual touching, and criminal harassment.  

Leany was held pending a bail hearing.
