One person is dead after he was struck by a GO train in Oakville overnight Monday but the circumstances aren’t suspicious.
The victim is an adult male, said Halton police acting Staff Sgt. Martin Dick.
The incident took place close to the Bronte GO station on Wyecroft Rd. at 12:10 a.m.
The lone male was hit by an eastbound train shortly before it passed through Bronte station.

Investigators from the collision reconstruction unit were sent to the scene.
The train was released after two hours, and nearby railways were reduced to one track for five hours.
GO trains are running on a Sunday schedule today and aren’t stopping at Bronte as of 7:20 a.m.
Bronte riders can catch the GO bus at Appleby or Oakville stations.
