Justin Trudeau has stopped by in Milton for one of his last few campaign rallies before Election Day.

This afternoon, Trudeau spoke to a gathering of supporters to reiterate the Liberal platform, including furthering gun control, environmental protections, and protesting against cuts from the Conservative party.

He also endorsed Adam van Koeverden, Milton’s federal Liberal candidate, who appeared at the event.

Their appearance prompted a long line-up outside the venue, several people reported on Twitter.

Following Trudeau’s speech, he took the time to shake some hands before the rally ended.

Election Day is this Monday, October 21.
