After a difficult start to winter, it looks another breather is on the way—something that will no doubt come as a relief to many.
According to a recent Weather Network forecast, mild temperatures are set to hit Halton this weekend.
A somewhat chilly (but certainly not unbearable) Friday night (-1 C) will give way to a pretty balmy Saturday.
Temperatures, according to The Weather Network, are expected to hit a very comfortable 5 C (although it’ll feel more like 1 C).

The warm temperatures are expected to persist into Sunday before dropping to 0 on Monday. The beginning of the week could be marred by some precipitation (rain and freezing rain), but temperatures are expected to climb back to 4 C on Tuesday before dropping below freezing.
While winter is far from over, it’s nice to know to know that some warmer temperatures are here to break up the extreme cold we’ve been experiencing.
Perhaps this is a good weekend for some skating?
