Some incredible artists are coming to the FirstOntario Arts Centre in Milton during the 2019 – 2020 season.

In a recent press release, the 2019-2020 line-up was announced and some of the country’s most celebrated artists are coming to town.

“This season features Canadian country music artist, Meghan Patrick, a two-time CCMA Female Artist of the Year, and a recent recipient of the Juno Country Album of the Year Award and Breakthrough Artist Award,” reads the release.

In addition, the town will also be welcoming 54•40, who will be performing a number of familiar hits such as ‘One Gun’, ‘Ocean Pearl’, and ‘I Go Blind’.

Furthermore, Kim Mitchell is also set to perform his hits songs in Milton, including the summer anthems, ‘Patio Lanterns’, ‘Go for a Soda’, and ‘Rock N Roll Duty’.

Milton will also be welcoming Canadian alternative rock performers, the Halifax native group Sloan, and The Trews who have shared the stage with artists such as the Rolling Stones, Weezer, and Bruce Springsteen.

The Canadian Contemporary Dance Theatre will also be returning to the centre this season in a production titled Teasing Gravity

And if that wasn’t enough, the Centre will also be hosting the inaugural ‘Fall Ball’ in September in support of the FirstOntario Credit Union Every Milton Child Every Year Arts Program.

“This program provides opportunities for elementary students to participate in diverse arts programming, each year, free of charge,” reads the release. “The event will feature The Dreamboats, a charismatic foursome who blend the nostalgia of the 50s and 60s with a modern indie-rock sound.”

Lastly, the season will also consist of a variety of community groups, rental performances and shows.

“Residents are encouraged to explore local talent through an exciting line-up of musical performances, tribute acts, concerts, theatre, family shows, film, and festivals,” notes the release.

Tickets for the 2019-2020 season will range from $25 to $125 and will be available to the public on June 1.
