The CP Holiday Train recently came to the Town of Milton.

The train was in town yesterday, Nov. 28, at the Glen Eden Ski & Snowboard Centre located at 5234 Kelso Rd. in the West Parking Lot.

One of the main goals of the CP Holiday Train, besides celebrating the holiday season, is to raise money and give food to local food banks in the communities the train visits.

In total, there are two CP Holiday Trains that come to Canada.

The U.S. Train departed from Montreal on Nov. 25 and is travelling south making stops in Quebec, New York and Southern Ontario before continuing its journey through the U.S. and into southern Saskatchewan for its final stop in Weyburn, Saskatchewan on Dec. 16.

The Canadian Train departed from Montreal on Nov. 27 and is travelling west through Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, and British Columbia for its final show of the 2018 CP Holiday Train tour in Port Coquitlam on Dec. 18.

Performers at the Milton event included the Sam Roberts Band and JoJo Mason.

If you weren’t able to make it out last night worry not, because Conservation Halton has you covered.
