The police and Marine Unit was dispatched to investigate.
After the long search, the police retrieved a patio umbrella.

At 3:00 pm, a citizen reported an object floating in Lake Ontario and police marine unit attended. Item was a large patio umbrella. A search and rescue helicopter flew over to examine area, but nothing else was located. Marine search call now concluded. <gk2675
