Here’s Everything we Know About This Huge Holiday Market in Milton

Some people will argue that it’s too early to be getting excited for the holidays while others have already gone into full-blown festivity mode.

Regardless of which end of the spectrum you’re on, there is no denying that the Holiday Street Market in Milton is fast approaching.

Here’s everything we know about this massive market.

The Holiday Street Market is the largest of its kind in all of Ontario during the holiday season and brings in more than 150,000 people.

This market could be your one-stop-shop when it comes to gift giving this year.

There will be an enormous number, more than 250, of vendors for market-goers to enjoy.

Besides shopping, the market is an excellent opportunity to try some mulled wine, craft beer, an abundance (we won’t judge) of mouth-watering treats, and, of course, see Santa Claus himself.

New at the Holiday Street Market this year is a 50-foot light tunnel, the opportunity to play in Santa’s workshop, and roasting marshmallows over a wood-burning fire pit.

Who doesn’t love roasting marshmallows over a fire?

This year, the market will be held on Dec. 1 and Dec. 8 from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. and will be located on Main Street in downtown Milton from Bell Street to Commercial Street.

This free to attend event, which is sponsored by,  will run rain or shine (or snow) and free parking will be available.

Shoppers should come to the market with multiple payment options as some vendors will be accepting cash, and some will be accepting Visa, Debit, MasterCard, etc.

According to the Holiday Street Market website, “Formade-to-order food and drinks, you must exchange cash for tickets prior to purchasing from our ticket booths which will only be accepting cash.”

If needed, there will be ATMs.

Food and drink tickets can be purchased in batches of four for five dollars.

So, regardless of whether or not you’re in the holiday mood already, the Holiday Street Market in Milton is the perfect opportunity to get in the spirit or amplify your already present holiday cheer.
