James Kirkwood is $75,000 richer thanks to his win with INSTANT HIDDEN GEMS. His wife played his ticket and discovered they had won the day before Mother’s Day.

“This was amazing. I can’t believe $3 turned into $75,000,” Kirkwood said.

The father of two and grandfather of three said he plans to put the money in the bank for now until he figures out a plan for it.

“Even if it had been $75, I would have been happy. I’m in disbelief about $75,000. My wife was so excited – we’re happy to be in this moment,” he said.

The winning ticket was purchased at a Quick Pik Variety on Miller Drive in Georgetown.

The OLG Prize Centre in Toronto has resumed in-person prize claims for winning-ticket holders of $50,000 or more by appointment only.
