A St. Catharines woman is facing charges in connection with a sexual assault investigation.
Halton police recently announced that the force’s Child Abuse and Sexual Assault Unit arrested 55-year-old Frances Maureen McNeil on Feb. 13.
Police say the accused worked out of her Burlington home as a babysitter between 1996 and 1998 and was known to look after children in the neighbourhood.
Police say the accused was arrested on Feb.13 and charged with sexual assault, sexual interference and invitation to sexual touching.

She was held for a bail hearing.
