Fallen Tree Causes Road Closure and Downed Hydro Lines in Milton

Some Milton residents may be experiencing a potential power outage this afternoon.
Some Milton residents may be experiencing a potential power outage this afternoon.
Halton Police reported around 3:45 p.m. that they were on the scene of a downed tree on Court Street North, south of Woodward Avenue at Ontario Street North.
The tree crashed onto a parked vehicle and also downed hydro lines. As a result, officers have closed the roadway for now.
Citizens are asked to avoid the area.
