In order to accommodate all these incredible acts, there will be several stages along Burlington’s downtown and waterfront.
Although the Sound of Music Festival is free, those who are planning on attending should take note that some events do require tickets. For more information, click here.
According to the official website, the Sound of Music Festival first started in 1980 (this year marks the 40thanniversary of the festival) and only consisted of a marching band parade. Now, the popular event is recognized as the largest music event in the region and attracts around 200,000 people.
In addition to the music at the festival, there will also be a family zone, a carnival, a parade, and a variety of vendors.
