An employee at a McDonald’s in Oakville has tested positive for COVID-19.
On Jan. 10, management of the establishment, located at 486 Dundas St W, was informed that an employee had tested positive for the virus.
The employee’s last shift at this location was Jan. 6.
According to McDonald’s’ website, restaurants are immediately shut down for a thorough cleaning and sanitization by a certified third party if an employee has tested positive or is presumed positive for COVID-19.
Any other employees who may have come into contact with this person are being instructed to quarantine until further information is available.
