A driver is facing charges after they were caught going more than 70 km/h over the speed limit in Oakville.
A driver is facing charges after they were caught going more than 70 km/h over the speed limit in Oakville.
According to Cst. Marc Taraso, this incident occurred in the area of Lakeshore and Winston Churchill Boulevard.
The driver was caught travelling at 131 km/h in a 50 km/h zone, 81 km/h over the speed limit.
As a result, the driver lost their four month old car for seven days, and their G2 licence for seven days as well.
According to Taraso, the driver was also charged by summons with stunt driving, and speeding 131 km/h in a 50 km/h zone.
