Downtown Oakville’s Tree Lighting Kicks Off Christmas Festivities

Bring your family and kick off the Christmas season in downtown Oakville’s Towne Square at the annual tree lighting ceremony.

Here’s what’s on deck: entertainment, Santa Claus, a pop-up market, and more.

It’s all taking place on Friday, Nov. 17.

The event begins with the pop-up market along George St. from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m.

The official ceremony runs from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. in Towne Square in front of the clock.

The tree will be lit at 8 p.m.
