COVID-19 has not put a stop for the need of blood.

COVID-19 has not put a stop for the need of blood.

Canadian Blood Services reports that donations are still necessary to help out patients in local hospitals. And you can do so in compliance with physical distancing rules in place.

In Milton, a blood donor clinic will be held October 12, which is particularly important as it coincides with the long-weekend when donations are low and demand often increases.

The clinic will be held at Milton Bible Church, 121 Chisolm Dr. from 10 a.m to 2 p.m.

Because of COVID appointments must be booked in advance. To do so call 1-888-236-6283 or book online at blood.ca.
