Calling all book-lovers and fashionistas.
The Burlington Public Library, along with other libraries in Ontario, is celebrating Ontario Public Library Week with the #OPLWBOOK Outfit Contest.
Readers will have the chance to show off their creative side by matching a book cover with an outfit.
The contest will run from today (Oct. 11) to Oct. 20 and those wanting to participate can enter in three easy steps.
- Burlington festival of lights extended until end of January
- Santa’s holiday magic coming to the City of Burlington
- Sum 41 and Third Eye Blind to perform at Burlington music festival this year
- Pick a book to match your outfit and take a photo of yourself or in a group.
- Share how you use your library card or why you love your library.
- Share your photo on Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram using the hashtag #OPLWBookOutfit.
There are some incredible prizes involved which will be provided by Ontario Library Association.
Prizes are provided by the Ontario Library Association and include the following:
- Forest of Reading Award nominee book set (approximately $200 value)
- An eReader (approximately $175 value)
- A prize pack from The Library Marketplace (approximately $200 value)
