Summer is just around the corner and a new waterfront restaurant, with a patio, is expected to open in Oakville just in time.

The Bronte Village BIA Oakville Facebook group recently announced that a new restaurant called Bronte Boathouse is coming to town and will be located at 2340 Ontario St.

And according to Doug Greco, President of Catch Hospitality, the restaurant is expected to open within the next month.

The restaurant, noted Greco, will have a relaxed and casual atmosphere and will serve up a wide variety of dishes including deep dish pizza, fish and chips, and fresh oysters – just to name a few options to get your mouth watering.

However, the food isn’t the only thing to get excited about.

As mentioned, there will also be a patio which will consist of a tiki bar.

In addition, there will also be an ice cream store – Duckies Dairy Bar – added onto the restaurant.

According to Greco each year the restaurant will open in May and close in September, making it the perfect summer location for residents and tourists to stop by and enjoy all the Bronte has to offer.

Will you be visiting Bronte Boathouse when it opens?
