For the third week in a row, Halton police, paramedics, and Burlington Fire blasted their sirens and flashed their lights at Joseph Brant Hospital to signal gratitude to all healthcare workers during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The weekly parade, which happened Friday evening, conicided with the Front Line Porch Clap, in which all residents are asked to step out on their porch in the evening and clap their hands to show their thanks to healthcare workers during this time.
Mayor Marianne Meed Ward participated again in the event.
“This is the most meaningful parade I ever get to be in,” said Meed Ward.
“Thank you to all of you who are working tirelessly to keep people in this hospital safe.”
