Two employees at Burlington grocery store test positive for COVID-19

Two employees at a Burlington grocery store recently tested positive for COVID-19.

The company reported today (Dec 31)  that two employees at the Fortinos located at 2515 Appleby Line tested positive on a presumptive case for the virus.

The last day the employees worked was Dec. 20 and 24, Loblaws said.

“Given the important role we play in our communities, we are prepared for all possible situations, including a positive test for COVID-19 in our stores,” Loblaw said in a statement on its website. “In these cases, we work closely with public health and follow their guidance to ensure proper notification of close contacts and required cleaning and sanitization in our stores.”
