Traffic delayed along QEW through Burlington as crews clean-up damage done by erratic driver

The OPP has caught up with a vehicle that had been travelling erratically along the QEW through Burlington this morning.

Commuters called police after noticing a truck swerving through traffic around 8 a.m. in the westbound lanes.
Police say it is believed the truck caused damage to the overpass at Walkers Line.
After pulling over the vehicle the driver in facing charges for impairment caused by drug use.

The OPP say commuters will experience delays, especially westbound on the QEW as their investigation continues and crews clean-up the area. Delays are expected until noon.
