This popular Burlington band is coming to the Sony Centre For the Performing Arts in Toronto.

This popular Burlington band is coming to the Sony Centre For the Performing Arts in Toronto.

Walk Off the Earth.

The band was first formed in 2006 and started releasing music independently. 

In 2012, Walk Off the Earth posted a cover of Gotye’s “Somebody That I Used to Know” onto YouTube where all five members are playing the same guitar.

This particular video has over 175 million views and resulted in Walk Off the Earth appearing on the Ellen DeGeneres show the same year the video was posted.

Walk Off the Earth is known as an indie pop, indie rock, alternative rock, reggae rock, ska, and folk band.

Popular songs include “Red Hands”, “Rule the World”, “Fire in My Soul”, and “Shake”.

The concert will take place on Feb. 15, 2019 at 8 p.m.

Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Oct. 19 at 10 a.m.
