Spooktacular Halloween

Mountsberg

During the month of October, Mountsberg undergoes a Halloween transformation. The spooky Haunted Barn is suitable for children ages 5 and up (parents are encouraged to explore first). Kids wearing their costume get a free treat.

This event also features live snakes and birds, a pumpkin hay play area, face painting, and more. What more could your little ghoul or goblin ask for?

Kelso Conservation Area

The fall festival returns for a second year. It features food vendors, artisans, and craft breweries. Advance tickets include a chairlift ride, as well as a beer glass and token for the adults.


Arts and Culture

Visit the recently reopened Joseph Brant Museum for the “Part of the Machine: Rock & Pinball” exhibit. Opening Sunday, the interactive exhibition features playable pinball machines as well as merchandise related to famous rock and roll bands.

There are two ongoing exhibits at the Art Gallery of Burlington: Until Oct 27 is the Eruptions Exhibit runs until Oct 27, while the Gender Conspiracy Exhibit ends Dec 31. Every Sunday, the Art Gallery offers an open house.

This weekend at the Burlington Performing Arts Centre, there are various performances: Sloan on Oct 4; InstaChoir and Women Fully Clothed: Invisible on Oct 5.


Stonehaven Farms

Open until late October, go pumpkin picking and explore the Giant Corn Maze.


Harvest Festival

Open until Oct 27
Springridge Farm

Enjoy pony rides, straw bale jumping, wagon rides, and more farm fun. Finish the day at the Barn Market for fall decor, baking, and treats.


Farmer’s Markets

This is the last weekend of the Centro Garden Farmer’s Market; open from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. The Farmer’s Market in the Burlington Centre Parking Lot is ongoing until Oct 26; Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday.


Pumpkins After Dark

Ongoing until Nov 3
Country Heritage Park, Milton

Stroll along the quarter-mile path of more than 5,000 hand-carved jack-o-lanterns and over 100 pumpkin sculptures. Book your tickets in advance and choose your preferred time slot.
