Police believe a food truck was being used in Burlington to sell drugs.

Halton Regional Police say their investigation began after receiving a number of tips from the public. As a result, police began a two-week stakeout of the vehicle and eventually executed a search warrant on the food truck while it was in the Mainway and Corporate Dr. area.

The investigation also led to a raid of a home and property in the Guelph Line and Fairview St. area.

The raids led police to seize the following items valued at $13,670:

• 1.3 kilograms of cannabis

• seven 420mg THC gummies

• two THC vape pens

• 21 oxycodone pills

• 2.4 grams of cocaine

• one morphine pill

• 3.2 grams of psilocybin

• one cell phone

Sergio Beraldo, 59, of Burlington is facing  several drug-related charges including two counts of possession of cannabis for the purpose of selling, two counts of possession of cannabis derivatives for the purpose of selling, two counts of possession of oxycodone for the purpose of trafficking, and three counts of possession of a controlled substance.
