Robbers target restaurants at Burlington mall during late-night crime spree

Robbers smashed through glass doors to steal cash from four restaurants at Appleby Village Shopping Mall during the early hours of Saturday (Nov. 14).

Police believe two men are responsible for the break-ins that occurred between 4 and 5 a.m. They say they targeted the stores with glass doors and smashed through before grabbing money from the cash registers.

Both robbers are described as white and wearing hoodies. One of the men is described as being 6-foot with a large build; the other has a medium build.

The amount of money stolen has not yet been determined.
