Registrations now open for Brampton's spring 2024 recreational programs

Registration for spring recreation programming in the City of Burlington will be opening this week.

Residents may register for in-person, outdoor and virtual programs for adults 19+ and adults 55+ on March 13 at 9 a.m.

Registration for youth programs will begin the same day at 11:00 a.m.

Spring programs can be viewed here.

Residents are reminded that in order to register online, an account is required. To create an account or register, visit liveandplay.burlington.ca or call 905-335-7738 for staff-assisted telephone registrations.

Anyone with questions or needing assistance can contact the Recreation, Community and Culture Department by email or call 905-335-7738 from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday to Friday and 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on weekends.

The City will do their best to adjust and modify the program should restrictions change due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Safety requirements will be in place for all programs. Participants will be required to bring their own items as well as wear masks.

Anyone participating in an in-person program will need to fill out the mandatory health screening form at burlington.ca/screening before each session.

Outdoor programs will run rain or shine and will require participants to dress for all weather conditions. Cancellations due to extreme weather conditions will result in credits issued to the affected customers.

The City would like to remind residents that recreation is for everyone, regardless of their financial situation and that Recreation Fee Assistance is funding made available to those who need help paying for recreation programs.

For more information or to apply, visit burlington.ca/feeassistance. Residents also have the option to leave a confidential voicemail message at 905-335-7738, ext. 8501.
