Police seeking public’s assistance to identify suspect in Burlington retail theft

Halton Police are seeking the public’s assistance to identify a suspect in a retail theft that occurred in Burlington.

Police say on Saturday, January 30, 2021, at approximately 3:40 p.m., a lone female entered the Shoppers Drug Mart located at 4525 New Street in the City of Burlington.

According to police, the female proceeded to the fragrance area and concealed $1,200.00 worth of product in a large purse.

The female exited the store, making no attempt to pay for the items, police say.
