Halton Police are searching for two suspects following a second cheese wheel theft that took place at a grocery store in Burlington.

According to police, on April 5, 2019, two female suspects went to the Longos located at 1225 Fairview St.

Police say the suspects stole a wheel of cheese.

The value of the cheese wheel was $180.

However, as mentioned, this wasn’t the first incident.

“Earlier in the day both of the same females had attended the Fortinos at 5111 New St. in Burlington and stole six wheels of cheese valued at $804.52,” reads a Halton Police news release.

The first suspect is described as someone who is middle eastern, has long light brown hair, and is 60-years-old and 5’5”. Police say the suspect was wearing a grey coat, a light blue scarf, grey jean pants, black running shoes with white soles, and was also carrying a brown purse.

The second suspect is also described as someone who is middle eastern, and has long brown hair, and is 30-years-old and 5’5″. Police say the suspect was wearing a black jacket, black leggings, grey running shoes, and was carrying a black bag.
