Police Look to ID Burlington Road Rage Suspect

A motorcyclist who allegedly punched a driver in the face is being sought by Halton police following a case of road rage in Burlington.

The incident went down on Oct. 3 at 7:50 p.m.

That’s when the victim was heading southbound on Guelph Line at Derry Rd in Burlington in heavy traffic.

There were multiple motorcycles following him.

One of the motorcyclists became agitated with the victim and pulled in front of his vehicle, causing him to rear-end the motorcycle, say police.

When they pulled over to exchange insurance details, police allege the motorcyclist punched the victim in the face and fled the scene.

The victim has minor injuries.

The suspect vehicle is a grey sport-style motorcycle with blue lights.

The suspect is described by witnesses as a white male, standing 6-foot-2, weighing 230 pounds, wearing a dark motorcycle jacket and full face helmet.

No licence plate was obtained and the extent of damage to the motorcycle is unknown.
