Ontario reports 1,707 new cases of COVID-19, 52 in Halton

Ontario is reporting 1,707 new COVID-19 cases today (Dec. 1), 52 of which have been reported in the Halton Region.

Today (Dec. 1), Burlington has recorded 14 new cases while Oakville has 11.

Milton has recorded 21 new cases while Halton Hills has 6.

A total of 2,890 cases have been resolved in the Halton Region and 65 people have passed away. There are currently 774 active cases in the region.

According to provincial data, 34,640 tests have been completed in Ontario in the last 24 hours.
