If you’ve been hoping for a swanky super-gym, you’re in luck — a massive and unique facility has opened its doors in Burlington.

And if it’s anything like its Ottawa counterparts, it’s downright swoonworthy.

A 70,000 sq. ft. facility awaits at the Millcroft Centre, where Movati Athletic opened its 14th Ontario location on Nov. 25.

“We are so proud to bring the Movati concept to Burlington,” said Movati’s CEO and cofounder Chuck Kelly.

“Movati Athletic is committed to making its members feel welcome, comfortable and healthy every day, from our obsession with cleanliness to the best team of instructors and customer service team in the business. We look forward to serving our new members and helping advance the fitness and well being of the Burlington community.”

It’s at the former Target premises, where a Value Village thrift store is also now open.

The gym combines the most popular studio fitness concepts with state-of-the-art functional, cardio and strength training facilities.

There are three levels, featuring two pools – including a women’s-only pool and fitness area.

The new club features six dedicated fitness studios, including open-air sky studio, hot yoga, and anti-gravity yoga.

Nearly $20 million was spent in development and construction, creating more than 150 local construction jobs.

There are now more than 125 permanent staff working at the club.
