As of Sunday morning, April 19, the province is up to 10,578 reported COVID-19 cases, up 568 from yesterday’s report.

553 deaths have been reported.

Meanwhile, 809 people are currently hospitalized, with 247 in ICU and 196 in ICU on a ventilator.

At this time, 5,209 cases are considered resolved.

In Halton Region there are now 380 total confirmed cases (up 12 from yesterday’s report) with 74 in Burlington,
120 in Oakville, 75 in Milton, and 111 in Halton Hills. The region is also counting 56 probable cases for a total of 436 cases.

Among the total 436 Halton cases, 70 (16%) have been residents or patients associated with an institutional outbreak.

The province and region are continuing to update their numbers on a daily basis.
