“We’re always looking for improved ways to provide our customers a luxury experience,” said Toronto Premium Outlets general manager Helena Moniz.

“As our retail offerings continue to evolve, so must our customer convenience infrastructure.”

TPO is going to be unveiling its new five-storey parking garage, which is currently under construction, with a slated opening in November.

The new parkade will offer free, covered parking and will help alleviate congestion during peak times.

The structure will provide an additional 1,600 parking stalls for shoppers, easing congestion to and from stores.

The parkade will also feature heated ramps and a state-of-the-art parking management system displaying the number of spaces available on each level and identifying available spots on each floor.

The second phase will see the construction of 140,000 square feet of additional outlet space, scheduled to open in November 2018.

Upon completion, the centre will offer more than 130 designer outlets and 3,100 parking spaces.

It currently offers more than 80 stores, including Saks OFF 5th, Burberry, Tory Burch, Ted Baker, AllSaints, Coach, Rudsak, Polo Ralph Lauren, Michael Kors, Kate Spade, and Under Armour.

Toronto Premium Outlets attracts millions of shoppers annually and provides more than 900 full-time jobs.

The shopping centre is Halton Hills’ largest property taxpayer.
