Some fun cultural events are coming soon to Burlington!

The city is participating in Culture Days on September 27, 28, and 29. During the celebration, there are several free arts and cultural events and activities planned across the city.

As part of its 10-year anniversary initiative, Culture Days is celebrating arts and culture through the lens of “Creativity, the Arts, and Well-being.”

The city is inviting its residents to enjoy the festivities which include visual arts, dance, theatre, music, storytelling and crafting to raise awareness, engagement, and participation in arts and culture.


Event highlights include:

Culture Days Kick-off and Celebration – September 27, Art Gallery of Burlington, 6:30 to 9:15 pm

You can enjoy family-friendly activities and interactive performances featuring Burlington artists and performers.

BPAC’s 2019 Cultural Diversity Festival – Sept. 28 and Sept. 29, Burlington Performing Arts Centre

Experience Burlington’s cultural diversity with performances, workshops and events. The times are varied, so you can visit burlington.ca/culturedays for the full listing.

Celebrating Art and Culture in the City – Sept. 27 to Sept. 29, Tourism Burlington – Visitor Information Centre,  9 am to 4 pm

You can stop by the Visitor Information Centre to learn about the amazing art programs in the city. Colour your own mandala and use it to help you focus while meditating or make your own stress balls.


“Culture Days provides an opportunity for residents to engage with local arts and cultural professionals to celebrate Burlington’s rich arts and cultural community,” said Angela Paparizo, the Manager of Arts and Culture. “The Culture Days weekend will entertain, inspire, challenge and move all those who participate in the free, interactive activities put on by the artists, creators, musicians, architects, curators and other creative people in Burlington.”
