It was a bittersweet day.
It was a bittersweet day.
This past Sunday (Jan. 13) a memorial tribute concert took place in the City of Burlington to honour the late Walk Off The Earth band member Mike Taylor ‘Beard Guy’ who passed away at his Burlington residence on Dec. 30, 2018.
The tribute concert took place at the Civic Square in downtown Burlington, the hometown of Walk Off The Earth.
At this tribute, Taylor was also honoured by the city by being the first recipient of ‘Key to the City’ – this is a program that will honour people and organizations that have made significant contributions to the Burlington community.
Thousands of fans came out to the tribute this past weekend in order to honour and remember Taylor.
If you didn’t get a chance to go, here’s what the tribute looked like.
