Halton Catholic school board set to hold a series of virtual meetings

The Halton Catholic District School Board will host a variety of virtual meetings for both parents and students to learn about programs and educational pathways.

The Halton Catholic District School Board will host a variety of virtual meetings for both parents and students to learn about programs and educational pathways.

Held at various times and dates throughout October, links to the sessions will be posted on the board’s website closer to the events.

Sessions include:

Advanced Placement

For those interested in courses that offer enhanced learning and university-level content to students in secondary school.

International Baccalaureate

To introduce the program that offers high quality and challenging educational courses for students.

Pathways

This session is for parents and students to learn more about the various educational pathways available, leading to one of four destinations: apprenticeship, college, university, or work.

Grade 8 to high school

Intended to ease the transition to secondary school for students entering Grade 9 in September, 2021. These information sessions offer an overview of the Grade 9 program, and provide an opportunity for Grade 8 students and their parents to meet staff and learn more about the school.
