Everybody in Burlington, Oakville and Milton will have both vaccine doses by end of summer

Ontario is speeding up its plan to deliver second doses of the COVID-19 vaccine with the expectation of Burlington, Oakville and Milton residents along with the rest of the province, who will be completely vaccinated by the end of September.
This will begin with individuals turning 80 and over who will be eligible to book their second dose appointment on May 31 followed by individuals aged 70 and over-scheduled to begin the week of June 14. The province will then continue to expand eligibility for second dose appointments based on the date of the first dose.
Dates for other age groups will be announced as more vaccine becomes available.
Premier Doug Ford said under this accelerated program, he expects the province to be fully vaccinated by the end of the summer.
To book appointments, Ontarians who have had their first dose and are eligible for an accelerated second dose may be able to return to the same site or channel where they received their first dose for their second dose appointment or may choose to book an appointment at a different site or channel.
Second dose appointments can be rebooked through the provincial booking system and through pharmacies.
