The outbreak of COVID-19 at a Halton Hills elementary school has been declared over.

The outbreak of COVID-19 at a Halton Hills elementary school has been declared over.

St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Elementary School, at 120 Sinclair Ave. in Georgetown, had been reporting seven instances of the coronavirus at the school which led to the closure of two classrooms.

Halton Public Health has now cleared the school from outbreak status and all classes have resumed operating.
