COVID-19 claims another life in Oakville as 29 new cases confirmed across Halton today

Halton Region has 29 new cases of COVID-19 today (Oct. 29), and has recorded another death due to the virus.

The person who died is from Oakville and is the fourth person to succumb to the coronavirus in Halton during the past week.

In total, there are 236 active cases in Halton right now.

Specifically, Oakville and Milton each have 10 new cases today followed by Burlington with six and Halton Hills with three.

Halton Public Health is still dealing with outbreaks at five locations, all at residences for seniors, that account for 92 of the ongoing cases.
