COVID-19 cases in Halton today showcase significant drop since last week

Ontario is reporting 1,746 new COVID-19 cases today (Nov. 30), 47 of which have been reported in the Halton Region indicating a significant drop since last week’s highest recorded number of 109.

Today (Nov. 30), Milton has recorded 27 new cases while Oakville has 14.

Burlington has four new cases of the virus while Halton Hills has two.

A total of 2,860 cases have been resolved in the Halton Region and 65 people have passed away. There are currently 752 active cases in the region.

According to provincial data, 39,406 tests have been completed in Ontario in the last 24 hours.
