Courier service now available at Burlington GO Station

Commuters will now be able to ship and receive packages at the Burlington Go Station.
A partnership between Metrolinx and Purolator will see drop-off and parcel pick-up service provided by the courier company through a mobile unit that will be located in the parking lot of the station.
The service will operate weekdays from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. The service will expand to Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. during the holiday season beginning November 14.
The package partnership is intended to help transit riders save time by eliminating an extra stop during their day, says Metrolinx adding that it is also a safer alternative to having packages sit at a front door for hours, when nobody is home.
