Drivers are being advised of closures on the Burlington Skyway Bridge starting this weekend.

Here’s the schedule.
Work is being performed by Ontario’s Ministry of Transportation (MTO) to rehabilitate the Burlington Skyway Bridge will result in a closure of all Toronto-bound QEW/Skyway Bridge lanes on Saturday, May 5 and Saturday, May 12.

Keep in mind, QEW Niagara-bound traffic won’t be affected by the construction.
Saturday, May 5
All Toronto-bound QEW/Skyway Bridge lanes will be closed beginning at 9 p.m.
All traffic will be detoured onto Eastport Dr.
This full lane closure will remain in effect until Sunday, May 6 at 10 a.m.
All lanes will reopen by 2 p.m.
Saturday, May 12
All Toronto-bound QEW/Skyway Bridge lanes will be closed beginning at 9 p.m.
All traffic will be detoured onto Eastport Dr.
This full lane closure will remain in effect until Sunday, May 13 at 10 a.m.
All lanes will reopen by 2 p.m.
DETOUR
To help assist the flow of traffic on Eastport Dr. during the full lane closures, access to Beach Blvd. from Van Wagners Beach Rd. and Eastport Dr. will be restricted to local traffic only.
Police officers will be posted at these locations to assist with traffic control.
