If you’ve been looking for a fun event to take the kids to this upcoming weekend, look no further. This Sunday (Aug. 18, 2019) the Children’s Festival is returning to Burlington for the 28th year.
The festival, which will take place rain or shine, is being held downtown Burlington at Spencer Smith Park from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. There will be a number of activities for children to participate in at the festival, which is presented by the Rocca Sisters Team, including inflatable bouncers and slides, a meet and greet with Peppa Pig, temporary tattoos, and there will also be a craft table.
Several children’s entertainers, such as a Comedy Stunt Ventriloquist Show, Paul Wildbaum Mime, Magic & Clown Performance, and CRASH Rhythm, will also be in attendance.
Performances will take place on the main stage from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m.

There will also be retail and food vendors on site.
Admission to the Children’s Festival is free, and families are encouraged to bring sunscreen, or an umbrella if it’s raining, and a reusable water bottle.
