Burlington Trio Facing Drug Trafficking Charges

Three Burlington men are facing charges after a drug investigation which included the seizure of a gun.

The suspect was believed to be in possession of illegal drugs, say police, and a search yielded one gram of cocaine, 28 grams of marijuana and a digital scale.

A home on Spring Gardens Rd. was searched with investigators seizing cash, 4.4 grams of marijuana, 52 MDMA, or ecstasy, pills and a .380 calibre handgun.

The seized items have an estimated street value of $2,600, say investigators.

Dylan Christopher Dean, 20, is charged with possession of a controlled substance (marijuana) for the purpose of trafficking.

Kamaldip Singhera, 34, is charged with possession of a controlled substance (marijuana) for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a controlled substance (cocaine), and trafficking in a controlled substance (marijuana).

Dean and Singhera were released on a promise to appear in Milton court on May 1.

Brandon Michael Stoddard, 30, is charged with possession of a controlled substance (MDMA) for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, unauthorized possession of a firearm, possession of a firearm knowing it’s unauthorized, breach of firearms prohibition, careless use (storage) of firearm.

Stoddard was held for bail.
